STACBOND has a wide range of construction systems for composite panels that have successfully passed the most demanding quality tests, thus achieving the main international certifications that guarantee their suitability for the execution of architectural facades. This variety allows greater adaptability to the specific needs of each project, thus optimizing construction solutions, finishes and final cost.

The manufacture of the STACBOND composite panel follows a controlled process through rigorous tests and internal quality controls in our laboratories, and external through audits of the most prestigious construction institutes of the different countries where we are certified, for which it makes available to its clients the most demanding national and international certifications. The granting of these certificates follows the European guideline according to the EAD GUIDE 090062-00-0404 for ventilated facades and allows us to conclude that our construction systems are in accordance with the national regulations of each country. The STACBOND® STB-T-CH, STB-T-SZ, STB-T-REM, STB-CH, STB-SZ and STB-REM composite panel mounting systems have the European Technical Assessment Document ETE / ETA 15- 0655 and CE marking.

The ventilated façade is an exterior enclosure system that allows the placement of the STACBOND® composite panel separated from the thermal insulation by means of a bearing structure. This separation distance allows the passage of an air current between the panel and the façade, thus achieving optimum thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as effective protection against atmospheric agents. The panel is fixed to the façade using constructive elements designed and manufactured by STAC® for an easy, fast and efficient installation of the system. The main advantage of ventilated facades is energy saving, which is possible thanks to the existing chamber between the brick and the composite panel, which causes the thermal transmittance to be reduced, and energy is saved inside the building.

STACBOND develops in conjunction with architects and facade designers solutions for facades adapted to the needs of each project. In the Balaídos stadium, unique geometries are developed in search of an expressiveness linked to the top of the building, blurring the boundary between facade and roof in favor of more free and creative forms. For this project, the STACBOND® technical department developed a second skin system capable of adapting to the curvature of the surfaces by means of a very light system that maintains its waterproof properties.
